One of the primary goals of the Institute is to provide individuals and families living with mental health disorders access to education and resources. The Institute also provides individuals and organizations who want to influence and contribute to the solutions related to mental disorders with a vehicle to further their effort

Through the information and resources contained in this section of the website, the Institute hopes to deliver hope, support, and an opportunity to act in a way that can lead to better patient treatment, improved patient care and possibly even a cure.

The Institute for Mental Health Research encourages grant proposals from IMHR-affiliated institutions in Arizona. The proposal should describe an in-kind financial contribution from the institution and demonstrate how the proposed funding would support the IMHR's strategic goals, including the recruitment of outstanding mental health researchers to Arizona.
